Nigerian Dwarf Dairy Goats

Our 5.5 acre farm lies just north of Fort Worth, TX, from which we escaped the hustle and bustle of being city dwellers. What began as "no animals" from Paul's mouth to now, we have learned so much in terms of land and animal stewardship. After falling in love with Nigerian Dwarf goats as pets, we began to offer our goat offspring to others to spread the joy that comes with being a goat owner. We began our journey with unregistered stock, but are in the transition to ADGA registered goats in hopes of being a quality contributor to the dairy goat world in physical characteristics of confirmation and milk productivity. Our future farming goals include DHIR milk testing and the entry of competitions within the show ring. From "no animals" to a herd of 50 goats, one thing I have learned for sure - goats are addicting.

As the first doe on our farm in March of 2019, Fern held the title "Queen of the Pasture".

Just a few years back, we would have giggled at the thought of homesteading, but here we are becoming more self-sufficient with each sunrise, as if we've always been this way...meant to be, I say. We began this journey with two Nigerian Dwarf bucklings in 2019, yet have swelled to a herd of 20-ish dwarf goats, a donkey protector named Willy, a few dozen chickens, and even a 4,000 sq. foot vegetable garden.
